developing small wind-power plants is the aim of a partnership between TUV NEL and the British Ministry for Innovation, Universities and Skills. An agreement on the partnership was concluded by the wholly owned subsidiary of TUVSUD that is headquartered in Glasgow and the U.K. national wind energy center (NWTC) at the end of 2008. Through the development of small and so-called microplants, the British government hopes to significantly increase the share of renewable energies used to produce electricity.
Microfacilities will open wind power to the mass market. the important point is that consumers can rest assured that their equipment is safe and in good working order.
